Exhausted!

Well, we just returned from one of the longest, most exhausting, Christmas vacations in history! It all started with me working two twelve hour shifts Tues. and Wed. Then heading to the hotel for Meis Christmas after work. Then Charlie decided to get the flu, or something like that. He had a really horrendous accident in bed Christmas Eve while Anthony was at midnight mass. It was awfully overwhelming and I had to take it on by myself. The sheets needed changed, Charlie needed a bath, monkey needed washed...oh my gosh what will we do with out monkey, how will he sleep? So I hurried up and hand washed him, threw the sheets and bedspread in the wash, gave Charlie a bath, all at the same time trying not to throw up myself from the smell in the room, (sorry Charlie). Anyway, Anthony pulled into the driveway to find me in Charlie's room with the window open fanning a pillow...he thought the house was on fire. Sooooo...I woke up at 7:00 a.m. to go to 8:00 mass so we could still make it home for Christmas with the Nelson fam. Running on just a few hours of sleep, you can imagine how delightful I was to be around!!! We made it through Christmas day alright...but, the next day, different story. Charlie had two eggs for breakfast and a couple sips of oj, and not an hour later it all came back up!!! All over Anthony, all over Charlie, all over the bathtub, bathroom floor, rugs, clothes, ahhhhh! Once again, it took a lot for me not to throw up all over the place too...thank goodness for my mom who cleaned up Charlie's clothes! That's not the end of it! Later that night, around midnight, Charlie threw up in bed, thankfully this time it was only jello! So I had to clean up more clothes, more sheets, blah, blah, blah!!! So, that was my Christmas in a nutshell! Or maybe that was more than a nutshell, either way, hope you all had a good one!!! :)

Poor baby! There is nothing worse than smelling vomit and seeing it everywhere...okay, well maybe it's worse when you're pregnant too. You're quite the trooper!
