Sunday afternoon, on my way back from my nephews baptism, Anthony called me and told me he had a 104.0 temp and a sore throat. OK, no big deal, he'll get over it and go back to work tomorrow. Well, he's been home since then, not a day of work this week, until today, Friday! He had strep throat and caught a virus on top of it. Two trips to the doctor, a shot of Penicillin and antibiotics, 5 days laying around in bed and a lot of NyQuil, Tylenol pm, Ibuprofen and a little Vicodin, which by the way messed him up so bad he said he'll never take it again, he is finally over it. I think! He went to work anyway.
So, what does all this have to do with a picture of my kitchen? Anthony stayed home from the baptism to paint the kitchen, bathroom and finish the tile around the fireplace in the basement. He did get the kitchen painted, but not the rest, due to the strep throat. No big deal, it's been five years, what's another couple months? I'm still trying to get everything back in order, and trying to get my new decoration up. Since I don't know a thing about centering, finding studs or stud finders, it will have to wait until Anthony can do it.
I was at work yesterday and the front desk called me and told me that they had something for me. I went to have a look, and this is what I found! Anthony sent me some flowers just for the heck of it. I guess he thought I deserved them since I had to run the house by myself for the last week.
They are very pretty and everyone at work enjoyed them also! Thanks Ant!
