Last year, Charlie and I, went to the Wells Fargo Lights Festival. We had a blast. It was a great day! Lots of fun, all smiles, and fond memories. We decided to take Maggie with us this year, thinking she would be big enough and would have fun with us. Yes, in the pictures, she looks happy, but behind the scenes it was a whole other story! She was "tired" and "cold" and the hot chocolate was "too hot" and she needed to go potty and, and, and!!! And Charlie wanted a balloon thing and he was tired, and he was sick of waiting for the trolley! Was it worth it? I don't know! Will I do it again next year? Probably. It's got to better next year....right?
We started out at the Children's Museum, then off to the Police horse barn, then the Durham, and the Joselyn Museum. We skipped the Libraby because we were running out of time. So maybe that will be our first stop next year. And maybe next year we will bring Dad along. Or not. Maybe we will just leave him home with the new baby! :)
It was so nice out at the beginning of the day, we didn't even need our coats!
The big Christmas tree at Durham!
The nice weather made for long lines of people!!
